Volunteers

Please note that the Auxiliary is not an internship program, nor a means to obtain a job with the hospital. We view volunteering as a long-term commitment and seek committed individuals who will be members for many years to come.
As a volunteer, you enjoy the opportunity and personal satisfaction of serving as an integral member of the healthcare team at Henry Medical Center. Auxiliary Volunteers are people like you! Homemakers, career-oriented, retired professionals—of all ages currently participate in the Auxiliary. A teen volunteer program is also available for students 16-18 years old.
Henry Medical Center’s Volunteer Services and Auxiliary have always been vital to our success. There are about 150 spirited members of the community who give more than 35,000 hours of valuable service each year. Volunteers assist in a variety of hospital functions, including courier service, greeters, gift shop operations, hospitality desks, information desks and office support.
The Auxiliary is instrumental in organizing several fund-raising events to purchase medical equipment, aid in hospital development projects, and support community programs. You are invited to learn more about becoming a volunteer by contacting the Volunteer Services Department at 678-604-1057.
