Charles F. Scott
Charles F. Scott became President and Chief Executive Officer of Henry Medical Center in March 2007. He has over 32 years of experience as a healthcare executive, including nine years as President and CEO. Most recently, Scott served as the President and CEO of Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, LA.
Scott received his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
Claude Carruth
Claude became Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Henry Medical Center in January 2003. Prior to joining HMC, Carruth spent 27 years in the practice of public accounting with the international professional service firms of Pannell Kerr Forster and Coopers & Lybrand. Carruth has been involved with the Hospital Authority of Henry County and Henry Medical Center continuously since the hospital’s opening in 1979.
Carruth received a B.B.A. degree in accounting from Georgia State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Jeff A. Cooper
Jeff A. Cooper began his tenure at Henry Medical Center in September of 1992 and currently serves as the Vice President of Operations.
Cooper has a B.S. in Health Systems Engineering from Georgia Tech and a M.S. in Health Administration from Central Michigan University.
An active member of the community, Cooper is immediate past president of the Henry County Rotary Club and serves on the Henry County Chamber’s Convention and Visitors Bureau Board of Directors.
Terry Wilk
Terry became Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Henry Medical Center in July 2007. Wilk comes to HMC from Southern Regional Health System where he was the VP and CIO for 8 years.
Wilk received his M.B.A from Case Western Reserve University and his B.B.A. from Cleveland State University, both in Cleveland, Ohio.
Karen Kiel
Karen Kiel has served Henry Medical Center in various roles during her more than 30 year tenure prior to being named Vice President of Patient Services and Chief Nursing Officer in October 2009.
Kiel holds a Diploma as Registered Nurse from Piedmont Hospital School of Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Services from College of St. Francis, a certificate in Health Services Administration and a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from Keller Graduate School of Management.
