Accreditation

Henry Medical Center earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™.
The Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) conducted an unannounced, on-site evaluation of Henry Medical Center in May 2008. The survey ended with HMC receiving a full three-year accreditation.
Henry Medical Center President and CEOP Charles F. Scott calls the accreditation “proof of a hospital-wide commitment to provide first class care to our community on an ongoing basis.”
The Joint Commission was founded in 1951 and seeks to continuously improve the safety and quality of care provided to the public through the provision of health care accreditation and related services that support performance improvement in health care organizations.
